Except both of them had families. Small children, a reasonably happy partnership, and no wish to change any of it. They hadn't planned this.
The relationship arrived like a tsunami and washed them into an emotional heaven that slid straight on into hell.
Passion, reading each other's thoughts, a meeting of souls, and then reproach, shame, and a feeling of helplessness about how this would end at home.
Both felt that their meeting was fateful, and they didn't know what to do about it.

It was a tangle of red and black ropes living in her womb. It coiled there and wouldn't let her feel her family or her husband. Every time she saw HIM, it started spinning and sent fiery flames up, all the way to her throat.
We worked with the tangle, cleansed the womb, and only when we had a beautiful space that breathed with freedom did we look at where these strong and irresistible feelings sprang from.
I expected Elena to travel back along the timeline into the prenatal period, where most of my clients land. She went further. She started describing a story to me that may or may not have happened. Nevertheless, her subconscious behaved as if she had truly lived through it.
A picturesque little cottage among the woods appeared to her, where she saw herself as a simple woman in a long, light cotton skirt who looked after part of an estate.
HE used to come to her. In secret. There was a war on, and he was from the enemy army. They caught fire with a youthful, naive, pure love. No one was allowed to see them together. He would have been shot for treason, and she would have been cast out for the same.
It didn't matter which side of the barricade anyone stood on. Not even the language barrier got in the way of how close they were.
Soon it became clear to them that their love had begun to take shape in a new being.
"I'll take care of you both," he promised. And she believed him.
But one week he didn't come. Nor the next. Nor the following month. He didn't see their son be born. He didn't hear him laugh out loud for the first time, nor was he there for his first little steps.
And she lost her spark. She gave up the little stars of joy that had once filled her eyes, her smile, and her voice. She knew he would never come back, and yet she waited.
„I will keep waiting for you and I will always love you,“ she whispered into the wind as she sat on the doorstep, her gaze fixed on the distance.
… except she had no idea she'd carry it with her into other stories, where the cards would be dealt differently. She had no idea that one day this promise would cut her legs out from under her and drag her through inexplicable emotions with the power to tear down everything she'd built until then.
"I don't want him! I don't want a divorce, but I can't help it!", she said with desperation in her voice and her head in her hands.
"Are you ready to cancel this ancient promise? Yes?"
"I am," she said firmly.

We performed a ritual in which Michael severed the burdensome bonds stemming from the past.
As he struck with his sword, Elena burst into tears.
Partly from relief, partly from fear. "But I don't want to lose him completely…"
"You aren't losing him. You're only freeing yourself from that promise. And if there really is something between you, you can keep building on it. But you DON'T have to wait for him anymore, and you DON'T have to keep loving him. Of course, you may. You're free, and you've given him that same freedom.
And sure enough. Slowly their uncontrollable attraction faded, and both of them were able to go back to their families. What tied them together in the present wasn't real feeling, so they stopped seeing any point in the relationship.
You don't always have to end a relationship like that. The technique with Archangel Michael is set up so that it severs only the dark, burdensome bonds, while love and respect remain.
When we let go of karmic bonds, promises, wrongs and betrayals, the relationship can take a breath and heal. Or, if that level was the only thing connecting us, it reaches its fulfillment and falls apart on its own.
The past is a memoryThe future is a fantasyThe only love dwells in the PRESENT
