The meanderings of my life

I was born with a gift for seeing into the human mind, and into the brightness of a child's soul.

I teach people to work with their mind so that it serves them, not the other way around. I also help pregnant women find trust in themselves, in their body, their baby and their inner voice. I support parents in understanding their children, so they can have a good life together. My work is my calling, and my calling is my passion.

Oneness, emptiness, a human being, and Tereza. That's me. A mother of three, grateful to life and, above all, kind to herself.

Even as a little girl, still in preschool, I was working out whether I was a good person. I felt for the black sheep of the group. They often came to me for backing, and told me what was hurting them.

Now I know why, from early childhood, my soul was practicing in dreams: how to aim attention precisely, and how to consciously create. It was practice for the work I do NOW. I learned to move around inside the mind and to see how things connect. A fine web linking cause and effect started to show itself to me.

But as a child I didn't get any of this. I just felt strange

The girls in my class competed over who got to be my best friend, and I still felt lonely. It was a dark time, full of fears and a longing to be grown up already and to find my footing in life.

Somewhere around adolescence it started dawning on me that the world isn't only what we can touch. To my amazement, an invisible reality began showing itself to me. In vibrations, in visions, in vivid pictures. And again, I was alone in it.

I still remember the frightened look on my dear mom's face when I told her, full of wonder, that I could feel minerals vibrating in my palms and see the energy in pictures.

Being misunderstood and let down gave its own order: Keep this to yourself. You don't say things like that!

So I hid in my inner world. Physically, I shut myself into a teahouse in Prague, where I spent hours meditating, talking, standing on my head and steeping Vietnamese Dac Biet tea. I was strange, and by then I liked being strange. I could feel a small flame burning in my heart and starting to light up the world around me as well. Being alone stopped bothering me.

And then, out of the blue, BAM

Call it coincidence, or call it not. Someone came into my path who also loved steeping tea. Only, unlike me, White Peony.

We started meditating together, and he didn't find it strange at all when I told him he had crossroads of blue light in his heart, that his chakras were wired together with colorful cables, and that in our meditations I had traveled with him across the universe and through the emptiness.

I wrote our spiritual trips outside time and space into a small notebook. Years later, once I'd grown into the courage to walk out into the world naked, that notebook became the meditation book A Drop of Heaven.

I left a copy under my mom's pillow as a surprise. Her praise went: "I do admire how you can string such nonsense words together." I wasn't offended. Quite the opposite. I took it as enormous proof of a mother's love. I had grown up.

My inner voice spoke: "Not everyone has to understand you. What matters is that you understand yourself and know who you really are!"

After a year of intensive spiritual practice and excursions through the landscape of the mind and consciousness, and from that runway of tea cushions, I was ready for the next turning point.

For me it was the beginning of a new era. A thick, flickering line dividing my life into the prehistoric before and the conscious NOW

It happened at a seminar where we said our goodbyes with a hug after the afternoon program. I hugged one man and... and... I couldn't let go. I just couldn't! And he wasn't letting go of me either. Someone had cut the electrical circuits in my arms, the ones in charge of movement.

We stood like that, in a loose embrace, for several hours. With this man, in a waking and unplanned meditation, I lived through a state where I could do anything. I decide, and I turn on a light from a distance. I decide, and I swap the Big Dipper for Cassiopeia.

Later, in a pink dress, it was to that man that I said YES. Three wonderful children then stepped out of that embrace, and I count them as my teachers and my rescuers.

Only now, with a thousand-hour sleep debt and the knowledge of what it's like to have my heart split into thirds, each third living in its own body, do I understand what spirituality really is.

The children sat me down on the ground. Before that I was conscious, bathed in the knowing of oneness, rewarded with plenty of experiences past the edge of ordinary perception. What I didn't have was grounding.

Thanks to my beloved children, I understood that all spirituality is just spiri-shit unless it's lived in the everyday, in every pleasant and unpleasant moment

It was my children who helped me remember the Knowing my soul had brought with it, and only then could I set out on the path of my Calling.

Motherhood is what showed me I'd been given a gift for seeing into a child's inner world. I sense intuitively how children feel and what's weighing on them. It's a real joy to help their parents get there too and understand their own children, with their own childhood and its old hurts in view. It's a gripping, adventurous journey into the depths of subconscious programs, beliefs, prohibitions and commands.

The essence of the best of it, tested and lived through myself, is what I now offer you, with gratitude and joy in the form of:

Right now I'm powerfully drawn to the theme of pregnancy and birth, and so I've worked those two themes into a full-length eBook The Mystical Birth, which I've packed with four meditations and valuable bonuses. Because I believe that pregnancy, and the way we come into the world, strongly shapes how we'll feel for the rest of our lives.

Every day I give thanks that I belong to this beautiful planet and get to create here. And thank you for creating alongside me.

With Love, Tereza

What do my readers and clients say about me?

Seeing or reading anything of yours is like eating cake and then floating in a sweet haze. A kind of food for the spirit. Keep it up 😉. I'm rooting for you.
